We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Centre Manager for our Service and Supply Centre. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a stable and rewarding work environment.
Position Overview
As the Centre Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and direct operations to meet the Centre's sales objectives, ensure timely delivery, and achieve profit goals. You will collaborate with management and staff within the Centre, as well as engage with customers, suppliers, and the National Office. It is essential to uphold all company policies and procedures regarding Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and environmental standards.
Additionally, you will assist with counter service and may take on occasional duties as a Mobile Service Technician.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations of the Hose Service Centre
• Provide expert technical advice and support to both staff and customers
• Develop, implement, and assess training and development programs
• Enhance the safety performance of all personnel
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess:
• Relevant Occupational Regulatory Licenses
• Trade Certificate & Certificate II in Engineering - High Pressure Hose Assembly
• Proven ability to cultivate a high-performing team that operates efficiently and effectively
• Experience in people management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for a customer-centric environment
• Excellent organizational and business administration capabilities
• Capacity to work productively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Effective delegation abilities
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and achieving financial targets
• Familiarity with management systems, including Quality Assurance (QA) and WHS
• Ability to operate relevant machinery
• Knowledge of industry-standard equipment
• Proficiency in computer skills, along with strong literacy and numeracy
• Professional appearance and grooming
• Understanding of procurement and inventory management systems
• Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and potential clients
