Job Title: Primary GATEway Extension Teacher

 

We are seeking a dynamic and committed educator to deliver innovative and differentiated English and Mathematics programs for students in Stage 2 and 3.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching high-quality learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of gifted and talented students.

 

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and engagement through collaboration with colleagues and effective communication with parents.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional teaching and learning programs for gifted and talented students in English and Mathematics.

• Develop and implement curriculum that caters to diverse student needs.

• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and engagement.

• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.

• Engage with parents to promote student success and wellbeing.

 

Selection Criteria:

• A relevant teaching degree.

• Current teacher registration.

• Quality teaching and learning practices.

• Ability to teach extension English and Mathematics.

• High-level communication and organisation skills.

• Understanding of student wellbeing and engagement.

• Commitment to professional learning.

• Deep understanding of Christian education principles.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate qualification in gifted and talented education is advantageous.
