This position presents an exceptional opportunity to drive systemic improvements, mentor education teams, and lead initiatives that enhance learning and reflect a Catholic education mission.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide strategic guidance in curriculum development, pedagogy, and assessment across secondary schools.
- Lead the design and implementation of system-wide learning and teaching initiatives, fostering collaboration among education professionals.
- Mentor Education Officers in the creation and delivery of evidence-based strategies to improve classroom practice, focusing on student outcomes.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality professional learning for teachers and middle leaders, promoting instructional excellence.
- Apply research and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) strategy to develop practical tools, scalable programs, and impactful resources, driving educational innovation.
- Evaluate program effectiveness using data and research, measuring impact across schools and informing future strategic planning.
- Represent the Learning Outcomes directorate in senior-level working groups and strategy forums, advocating for education priorities.
- Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and the consistent implementation of learning programs across the system, ensuring alignment with educational goals.
