As a Data Scientist/Bioinformatician, you will play a key role in driving medical research through the application of multi-omics and computational tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to Activities Enhancing Awareness and Reputation
  • Independently conduct and support research experiments and projects, as well as contribute to collaborative data insights.
  • Demonstrate expertise in scientific knowledge and technical skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Prepare and report research data for documentation and presentation to the facility team and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and support the archiving of research data and shared resources.
  • Support the facility operations, administrative tasks, and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Develop and deploy facility tools, technologies, and services, prioritizing tasks as directed.
  • Participate in facility and Institute scientific meetings.
  • Engage in training activities alongside other team members.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other Core Facilities.
  • Improve quality management systems and share knowledge through seminars and similar events.

This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics and computational biology, with experience in applying multi-omics approaches to drive medical research.
