We're seeking an experienced Accountant and Administrator to join our team in a part-time capacity. This position provides the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to balance their work and personal life, while also utilizing their skills in accounting, administration, and customer service.
- Accounting Responsibilities:
- Transaction Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for recording financial transactions in Xero, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: They will manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Bank Reconciliation: The candidate will reconcile bank statements to ensure account balances are accurate and up-to-date.
- Financial Reporting: They will prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Administration/Office Duties:
- Patient Booking Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient bookings, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Order Fulfillment: They will process book and product orders, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Customer Service: The candidate will provide exceptional customer service, responding to emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Office Maintenance: They will maintain the office environment, including supplies and equipment, and assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.
- Property Management Support:
- Construction Invoice Review: The successful candidate will review construction invoices for accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Insurance Management: They will manage insurances for residential and commercial properties, as well as vehicles, to ensure comprehensive coverage and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Service Procurement: The candidate will obtain and evaluate quotes for property-related services, negotiating prices and terms to secure the best possible outcomes for the company.
Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping is required.
- The successful candidate must have full Australian work rights and hold an ABN.
- Knowledge of Xero accounting software (or similar) is essential.
- Experience in property investment/maintenance/new builds, experience with Re-leased software is an advantage.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office are necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
- A high level of attention to detail and thoroughness is essential.
- A can-do, positive, and friendly attitude is necessary for success in this role.
