Overview

Are you an experienced Accountant or Bookkeeper looking for a role with flexibility, variety, and a supportive team? McIlwain is on the lookout for a finance professional to join our Corporate Services Team as we roll out an exciting new ERP system.

This part-time position offers 20–30 hours per week with the freedom to work within our office hours (7am–5pm, Monday–Friday). It's the perfect fit for someone who values work-life balance while making a meaningful contribution to a well-established business.

Our Head Office is in Hemmant, which is a convenient short drive to the M1 and an even shorter walk to the Hemmant Train Station.

Duties
  • Maintain accurate financial records and process transactions
  • Prepare financial statements and assist with payroll, BAS, GST, PAYG, superannuation and other statutory reporting
  • Assist the Financial Accounting team with end-of-month (EOM) tasks
  • Support the Financial Accounting team with the set-up and integration of the new ERP system
  • Assist with general administration
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Strong payroll, FBT, GST, and reconciliation knowledge
  • ERP/systems experience highly regarded
  • Degree in Accounting (preferred)
