Marketing Director Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Marketing Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and hands-on approach to marketing, with experience in leading teams and developing successful campaigns.

About the Role:

The Marketing Director will be responsible for steering the brand compass, championing sustainability, keeping guests at the heartwood, running the multichannel treehouse, nurturing media & mates, deciding with data, and guarding the voice.

  • Steer the brand compass – Develop and launch a comprehensive 360° plan that spans digital, social, CRM, partnerships, PR, and analogue channels.
  • Champion sustainability – Highlight our eco-friendly design, community roots, and carbon-light operations in every campaign.
  • Keep guests at the heartwood – Create playful activations and loyalty moments that surprise, delight, and retain our customers.
  • Run the multichannel treehouse – Balance paid, earned, and owned media while ensuring every touchpoint resonates with our brand identity.
  • Nurture media & mates – Foster warm relationships with journalists, creators, and local influencers to maintain a fresh and friendly conversation.
  • Decide with data – Track performance, test, and tweak strategies for growth.
  • Guard the voice – Ensure every headline, hashtag, and communication echoes our unique tone and style.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in leading marketing for lifestyle hotels, hospitality groups, or experience-driven brands.
  • Sharp strategic mind paired with hands-on hustle.
  • Storytelling flair, presentation confidence, and ability to rally partners around a single idea.
  • Calm juggling of deadlines without losing good humour.
  • Genuine passion for sustainability and talent for weaving eco-values into campaigns.
