Procurement Professional Sought

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team in a federal agency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice, support and research services to the Procurement and Corporate Services Branch.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Undertaking research and analysis activities and drafting initial documentation to support simple to complex procurements.
  • Providing administrative support to the Procurement team.
  • Initiating drafting of procurement and contract related documentation.
  • Contributing to team planning activities and identifying opportunities for improvements.
  • Managing corporate master data from third party systems and within Agency systems in accordance with established procedures.
  • Providing support and training for ongoing system and data projects.
  • Processing invoices and tracking spend against budget.

Requirements:

  • An understanding of Procurement & Contracting functions.
  • Research and analysis skills to support Procurements.
  • Administrative support capabilities.
  • Australian citizenship is required for this role.
  • National Police and Working With Children Check eligibility.
