About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Full House Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans and driving growth for our client's commercial division.
About the Client:
Our client is a leading international supplier of outdoor furniture, umbrellas, and shade products. With a strong presence in Australia, they are looking for a talented Business Development Manager to help them expand their commercial division and target specification sales across the East Coast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic sales plans to grow brand awareness and drive sales of architectural shade products for commercial use
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including landscape architects, interior designers, builders, developers, and end-users in Aged Care, Hospitality, Councils, and Government
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including specification sales and direct sales to end-users
- Collaborate with the marketing manager to develop and implement marketing strategies to support sales efforts
- Provide regular sales reports and insights to the management team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a commercial sales role, preferably in the furniture, shade, or exterior decorative products industry
- Strong network of contacts and relationships within the building industry across the East Coast of Australia
- Experience specifying and selling products direct to builders, developers, or end-users
- Superb communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships at various levels
- Proven stable track record of employment in sales and business development
- Strong team player with the ability to work with internal and external departments to resolve problems
What We Offer:
A competitive salary package of $110K + Super, plus a FM Vehicle/Car Allowance + Fuel Card + Commission paid from receipt of purchase order and on delivery of the project.
