Job Title:

Procurement Specialist - Capital & Inventory

 

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to develop and manage vendor contracts for Manufacturing Operations. This role will provide strategic guidance for procurement planning, tendering, cost management, and contract administration.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining assigned capital and inventory contracts, ensuring delivery across cost, quality, risk, safety and environmental outcomes.

 

This includes building strong supplier relationships to support major projects and inventory optimization, identifying and implementing cost-saving and value-creation opportunities, driving contract and vendor performance through process improvements, benchmarking and best practice adoption, collaborating with internal stakeholders to align procurement initiatives with project and operational requirements, and supporting improvement initiatives by applying project management methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage vendor contracts for Manufacturing Operations
  • Provide strategic guidance for procurement planning, tendering, cost management, and contract administration
  • Manage and maintain assigned capital and inventory contracts
  • BUILD STRONG SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPS TO SUPPORT MAJOR PROJECTS AND INVENTORY OPTIMIZATION
  • IDentify and implement cost-saving and value-creation opportunities
  • Drive contract and vendor performance through process improvements, benchmarking and best practice adoption
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement initiatives with project and operational requirements

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract management
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills with a focus on value creation
  • Experience with capital procurement processes and vendor negotiations
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems such as SAP
  • A commitment to safety, wellbeing and sustainability
