
Information Resource Support Specialist

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students and staff. This role involves supporting individuals in their use of library spaces and facilities, connecting with and utilizing quality information resources across all collections.
The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with colleagues to reduce barriers to accessing information resources, library services, and spaces.
About YouWe are seeking a warm and approachable individual with excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in interpreting and advising students and staff regarding access to information resources.
You will take a collaborative approach to working with colleagues to achieve shared goals, contributing toward creating engaging and informative content for the library's social media outlets.
Some key position capabilities include:
- Demonstrated experience in frontline customer service where patience and resilience are essential attributes.
- Digital literacy and social media skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively within own team and with other teams, considering activities, decisions, and outcomes from the perspective of working with others.
- Effective written and interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills.
