About the Role

The Support Worker is a critical role within our team, responsible for ensuring the safe and participant-centered delivery of support services to individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support with Daily Tasks
    • Assist with personal care activities such as dressing, bathing, and grooming.
    • Support with medication administration and healthcare-related tasks.
  • Health and Safety
    • Monitor the safety and well-being of clients in their homes and in the community.
    • Identify and report potential hazards and risks.
  • Community Engagement
    • Support clients in participating in community activities and social events.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and support provided.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability (desirable)
  • 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Working rights for the Northern Territory
