About the Role

Konekt, part of the APM Group, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Darwin. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions that enable individuals and organisations to achieve their potential.

In this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to utilise your specialist knowledge and skills to assist people to return to meaningful engagement in occupations. You will evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness and help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating client needs and developing effective rehabilitation plans
  • Providing guidance on ergonomic assessments and recommendations for worksite modifications
  • Conducting functional capacity evaluations to determine an individual's ability to perform specific job tasks
  • Engaging with key stakeholders and building strong relationships to facilitate the achievement of business objectives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Professional registration with AHPRA, ESSA (AEP)
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application
