About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Specialist to join our team at Uniting. As a key player in delivering high-quality internal communications, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for various channels, including video content, newsletters, and our SharePoint intranet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and publish clear, engaging content for our weekly digital newsletter, intranet, and Viva Engage.
  • Internal Communications Support: Provide internal communications support for campaigns, events, and operational updates across different areas of Uniting.
  • Employee Engagement: Coordinate and promote employee webinars on topics like benefits and workplace culture.
  • Strategic Projects: Assist the Head of Organisational Communications with resources for key strategic projects.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to improving internal communication processes and services.
About You

We are looking for an experienced internal communications professional with a strong track record of creating engaging content and delivering high-quality internal communications. You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be organised and proactive, and have experience with SharePoint and Microsoft applications.

  • Experience: At least 5 years of internal communications experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, experience with SharePoint and Microsoft applications, and a strong understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and risk management practices.
