Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Planner to join our team in Australia. As a Water Resources Planner, you will work on complex, large-scale projects that deliver great outcomes for our clients and will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with interstate and international offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Project delivery and contributing to growing, shaping and maintaining our Integrated Water Planning business.
- Business development including client engagement, proposal preparation and bid management for clients including major and regional urban utilities, developers, local and state government etc.
- Proactive delivery of high-quality and timely valued water network planning solutions that are focused on flexibility, sustainability, optimisation, integration, whole-of-lifecycle cost and acceptable risk.
- Checking and review of project outputs, including project deliverables (calculations, specifications, reports) through to technical verification and peer review (as appropriate to level of experience).
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and maintaining a high performing, engaged and supportive team culture.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and consulting experience.
- Demonstrated network planning experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options and proficient in hydraulic network modelling of water and/or wastewater systems.
- Understanding of current and potential future policy, practice, trends, technology, and information affecting water planning, including drivers, regulation, framework and guidelines.
- Proven track record in the successful delivery of large projects on time, within budget and outstanding quality.
- Excellent communication skills and high quality technical and non-technical report writing.
- Client relationship / management skills and experience.
