Role Summary

This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. As an Autism Engagement Advisor, you will be responsible for observing, recording, and communicating key aspects of an individual's functional needs in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic interventions to support individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Liaise and work collaboratively with educators to ensure effective communication and implementation of support strategies.
  • Provide high-quality written reports detailing the oversight of an individual's functional needs and recommendations for future support.
Requirements:
  • Completed tertiary education with a relevant Disability or Psychology degree.
  • Relevant experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and in an educational setting.
  • Significant understanding and experience in delivering evidence-based strategies and supports for children with autism spectrum disorder.
