Configuration Management Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Configuration Management Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in configuration management, engineering, and technical documentation.

About the Role
  • Provide specialist advice on configuration management practices to support engineering and sustainment outcomes.
  • Apply Defence-standard CM principles (AS ISO 10007, DEF(AUST) standards) to establish and maintain configuration baselines.
  • Liaise with engineering, ILS, and project teams to ensure accurate tracking of technical data and effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the assessment and implementation of engineering changes, deviations, and concessions.
  • Contribute to configuration audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare and maintain CM documentation, reports, and registers in line with Defence standards.
Requirements
  • Degree qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related discipline) OR equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in configuration management within Defence, Aerospace, or a highly regulated technical environment.
  • Strong technical background in fuel systems and/or mechanical engineering.
