Configuration Management Specialist

As a Configuration Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining configuration management practices and systems within a project. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Senior Configuration Controller in planning, coordinating, and executing CM activities.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in one or more engineering environments, significant experience in recognised CM tools and associated databases, and ability to lead and mentor team members. Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
Key Responsibilities:- CM Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement CM plans, coordinate CM activities, and ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Product Identification & Control: Identify and control products, including documentation and data deliverables.
- Documentation Identification & Control: Identify, control, and manage documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Configuration Baseline Management: Manage configuration baselines, including identification, selection, and control of configuration items.
- Configuration Status Accounting and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of configuration status and provide timely reports to stakeholders.
- Configuration Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to CM procedures and identify areas for improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in CM practices and tools.
- Significant experience in engineering environments.
- Ability to lead and mentor team members.
- Defence security clearance (Australian citizen).
