Financial Accountant Position

The role of a Financial Accountant involves preparing financial statements and reports, as well as maintaining accurate accounting records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare income tax working papers and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely lodgement of annual group income tax returns.
  • Prepare tax-effect accounting and reporting, including note disclosures.
  • Lodge annual FBT return and support the preparation of monthly BAS returns and other tax administration tasks as required.
  • Prepare and review monthly journals, account reconciliations, and accounting workpapers.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, including cash flow statements and KPI reporting.
  • Maintain and improve accounting processes, documentation, and systems to create efficiencies and support business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA qualification.
  • Strong understanding of corporate taxation.
  • Experience in the property industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Innovative and problem-solving mindset.
