Senior Geotechnical Professional

This role requires the application of geotechnical engineering principles to design and manage tailings storage facilities and water storage facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering, hydrogeology, geochemistry, and environmental site characterisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Civil/Geotechnical/Tailings dam design;
- Geotechnical analyses using various software packages;
- Understanding of tailing deposition modelling;
- Geotechnical and environmental site characterisation;
- Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems;
- Project/task management and proposal preparation support;
- Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications;
- Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a related field;
- Directly relevant experience in a consulting environment;
- Knowledge of relevant geotechnical engineering software;
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment;
- Valid Australian driver's license;
