Koori Court Community Liaison Officer

The Koori Court Support Coordinator is responsible for delivering administrative and coordination tasks associated with the Dandenong Children's Koori Court. This involves engaging with stakeholders, including Elders and Respected Persons, young people, family, justice, legal, youth justice, and other community groups.
This role requires advanced knowledge of local community support services and providing information and referrals to culturally appropriate services as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement in a sensitive environment
- Build relationships and liaise effectively with key stakeholders, court staff, and the judiciary
Aboriginal Designated Position
This position is classified under 'special measures' of section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010. Only Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are eligible to apply. Confirmation of Aboriginality may be required.
