Field Service Fitter Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team as a Field Service Fitter based out of Launceston.

You will be responsible for providing diagnostics, repair and maintenance services to our customer's equipment in the field.

  • Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance
  • Building and maintaining excellent rapport with our customer base
  • Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork
  • Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic)
  • OEM or earthmoving equipment experience highly regarded
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
  • An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
