Industrial Gases Operations Manager

This key role drives safety culture, operational excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the operation through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing a culture of safety and operational excellence across the operation;
  • Engaging with customers to understand their needs and expectations;
  • Managing a team of drivers and subcontractors to optimize operational performance;
  • Maintaining efficient allocation of resources while ensuring effective safety practices;
  • Ensuring the safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness of the bulk operation.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record managing teams within Transport Logistics environments;
  • Experience integrating complex operations and optimizing performance;
  • Working knowledge and experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management across all modes - warehousing, transport, freight forwarding in highly regulated settings;
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills for internal and external partnerships;
  • Working knowledge of the Industrial Gases / Dangerous Goods sector is beneficial.
