Job Overview

The role of Risk Management Leader plays a pivotal part in the evolution of investment and asset-liability management practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the implementation and ongoing enhancement of our primary risk platform, ensuring world-class investment risk and ALM systems are maintained.
  • Champion the development of internal investment risk and ALM models to ensure they are maintained to a high standard and fit for use.
  • Review existing and proposed ALM systems, documents, and activities for capital implications and effectiveness.
  • Oversight of investment managers' portfolio exposures and ongoing compliance with mandate limits and regulatory standards.
  • Production and reporting of various risk metrics for various forums and reports.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Actuarial studies, Mathematics, Finance or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years' experience working in the Finance, Investments, or Life Insurance sectors in an investment risk-related position.
  • Very strong financial modeling experience.
  • Strong knowledge of life insurance regulatory capital standards.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
