Philanthropic Partnership Specialist

The purpose of this role is to acquire, increase, and retain funding from corporate partners through the development and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships.
This position plays an integral role in ensuring the organisation has the resources it needs to continue preventing animal cruelty and being financially sustainable.
Focusing on acquiring and maintaining partnerships, stewarding corporate contacts, and delivering bespoke experiences, this position will grow the network of new cash and in-kind supporters and sponsors.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a partnership program aimed at securing potential donors and partners.
- Including hosting companies onsite, training and managing volunteers who assist with carrying out corporate experience days onsite, coordinating with key personnel to ensure hands-on activities are prepared for corporate experience days, managing bookings for companies wishing to participate in corporate experience days.
- Work with other departments to identify potential partnership opportunities that are mutually beneficial between internal stakeholders, the philanthropy team, and the corporate partner.
- Secure new partnerships through targeted solicitation and relationship management.
- Acquire and maintain relationships with corporates (annual giving of up to $5,000). Be the point person for all their enquiries relating to our organisation.
- Maintain accurate records of supporter interactions in our CRM, including processing and receipting gifts as appropriate.
- Coordinate in-kind distribution and execute bespoke relationship management and cultivation plans for corporate contacts.
- Field incoming charitable offers and requests from corporates.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant area (desired)
- Minimum two years' experience in not-for-profit fundraising, communications, marketing, or equivalent
- Project management skills
- Campaigns – Salesforce is advantageous
- Experience in relationship management and stakeholder engagement
- Developing proposals, presentations, and pitches
- Analysis and reporting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and establish strong interpersonal relationships
- Strong organisational skills, time management, and expectation management
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-driven and results-oriented individual
- Confident speaker and advocate in a corporate setting
