Job Description
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of animal care professionals and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of animal care professionals to achieve outstanding results.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Oversee animal movements in and out of the shelter.
- Represent our values and promote a culture of excellence.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Liaise with council stakeholders and other external partners.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a leadership or management position within an animal welfare organization.
- Exceptional people management and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Decision-making skills and ability to determine a course of action when faced with uncertainty.
