About the Role

The University of Notre Dame Australia seeks a skilled Academic Educator and Program Coordinator to join its School of Medicine. This rewarding opportunity involves delivering lectures, tutorials, and practical classes for the Master of Paramedicine and Graduate Diploma of Paramedicine programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Course Coordination: Prepare, develop, and deliver high-quality educational content, ensuring alignment with professional accreditation requirements and university policies.
  • Line Management: Lead a teaching team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to achieve program goals.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise in paramedicine and education.
  • Student Consultation: Foster positive relationships with students, addressing their needs and concerns.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possession of a paramedicine qualification, registered with AHPRA, and a PhD or Master's with five years' experience in health or professional practice-based education settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in educating and assessing paramedics.
  • Proven leadership and management qualities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
