A dynamic position is available at UNSW Australia for an accomplished educator to contribute to the Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture.
About UNSW ADAWe are a multidisciplinary faculty that covers 60 subject areas across six schools and multiple research centers. Our diverse community equips students with creative thinking and problem-solving skills. We offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including NESA-accredited teaching qualifications. The successful candidate will join a research-intensive school focused on professional teacher preparation.
The RoleThis Lecturer position emphasizes primary and academic literacy education. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and inspiring a well-defined teaching philosophy that drives student learning.
- Conducting classes, assessing student achievements, and supporting students in courses aligned with UNSW policy.
- Crafting innovative learning activities and resources, along with assessment and feedback strategies.
- Pioneering experimental approaches to teaching and learning with senior academics' support.
- Mentoring students individually and as a cohort to achieve positive learning and employability outcomes.
- Supporting School engagement activities, such as professional experience visits, Graduate Teacher Performance Assessment marking, and Open Day events.
