We are seeking a creative and career-driven Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. This role would be suitable for a strong Sous Chef looking to take their next career step into the role of Executive Chef.

As our next Executive Chef, you will:

  • Bring a confident and creative cooking style with a strong emphasis on quality and presentation.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality food while maintaining food costs.
  • Possess a strong understanding of rostering and costings.
  • Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests.
  • Lead and develop a motivated and cohesive brigade.
  • Maintain strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Be diligent and adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, and other compliance requirements, with a strong understanding of HACCP management.

We are looking for an individual with previous experience in high-volume catering for conferences and events. Excellent verbal communication skills are essential, and a Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is required. A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences is also crucial.
