Lead Aged Care Professional

We seek a highly skilled and experienced clinical leader to drive exceptional care outcomes in our aged care setting.

  • Reduce avoidable hospital admissions by delivering proactive, holistic care that addresses the unique needs of each resident.
  • Prescribe medications and coordinate specialist referrals as part of comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual residents.
  • Support wellness initiatives by monitoring progress and collaborating with General Practitioners to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Conduct clinical research by collecting and analysing wellbeing program data to inform best-practice care models.
  • Contribute to policy development and shape aged care sector best practices through collaboration and leadership.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within healthcare or aged care.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • A proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for residents, families, and stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) and its application in aged care settings.
  • Familiarity with Department of Health regulations related to residential aged care services.
  • Current AHPRA registration in good standing.
  • Previous experience in aged care is highly desirable but not essential if you bring a passion for aged care and transferable leadership skills.
