
Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced emergency veterinarian to join our dynamic team. As a sole charge weekend and on-call emergency veterinarian, you will be responsible for managing a variety of high-impact presentations independently.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and capable veterinarian who thrives in fast-paced environments. You will work closely with a qualified nurse during after-hours shifts, ensuring you have the support you need to provide exceptional patient care.
What You Will Encounter
- Sore ears and lacerations requiring prompt attention
- Dog attacks and blocked cats that demand swift action
- Poisonings and snake bites that require immediate treatment
- Car accidents and other urgent presentations that test your skills
Your Team
You will be supported by a talented team of professionals, including an anaesthetic specialist and vets with expertise in ophthalmology, orthopaedics, internal medicine, general surgery, and pocket pets. Together, you will provide comprehensive care to patients from wellness checks to complex surgeries.

Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of five years post-graduate experience as an emergency veterinarian. You must also be eligible for veterinary registration with the Veterinary Board.
