Role Overview

The regional hospital in Northeast Victoria is seeking a qualified Clinical Social Worker for an acute inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical social work services to patients in the Acute admitted space (ED, Acute/Medical, Surgery, Maternity/SCN, Paediatrics, ICU).
  • Familiarity with Australian hospital protocols and procedures is essential.
  • Work full-time on weekdays, excluding public holidays and weekends.
  • This role requires minimal preparation time due to existing knowledge of hospital systems.
Required Expertise
  • Australian hospital experience is mandatory for this position.
  • Mental health services are not involved in this role.
  • Applicants must have been assessed by the AASW if trained overseas.
