Overview

Locum Grade 1 Social Worker required for a regional hospital in Northeast Victoria. The location is approximately 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne. ASAP start for 6-8 weeks. Acute inpatient setting. Locum rates + FREE accommodation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical social work services in the Acute admitted space (ED, Acute/Medical, Surgery, Maternity/SCN, Paediatrics, ICU).
  • Hit the ground running with Australian hospital experience; experience with crisis, NDIS, RACF, VCAT, and related processes.
  • Full-time (38 hours/week) on Weekdays; not working public holidays or weekends.
  • Comencement date: asap; Duration: 6-8 weeks.
  • Note: This vacancy is for a Clinical Social Worker and not a Mental Health Social Worker.
Qualifications
  • Australian hospital experience is required.
  • This is not a mental health role.
  • If overseas trained, you must have been assessed by the AASW before applying.
