Transforming Lives Through Early Childhood Education

The role of a Lead Educator is to guide and support children's learning and development, fostering their curiosity, capability, and confidence as lifelong learners.

At the heart of our early childhood education program lies a commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging play-based learning environment for children and families. We strive to make a positive impact on children's lives through evidence-based practice, collaboration, and teamwork.

As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the learning and development of children, working collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive and stimulating environment, and promoting attachment and trauma-informed practices. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of children in our care, making a lasting difference in their lives.

Our early years centre offers an intensive early learning and care program for children and families living with significant adversity. This program is based on extensive research and guided by infant mental health principles, aiming to change the life trajectory of children and improve learning and developmental outcomes.

Program Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 2:30pm

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
  • Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card
  • Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one)

You will bring a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families, and the community, alongside a team-player mindset. When you join us, you become part of a village of good-hearted, talented individuals who lean on each other for support and growth.

C&K is a child-safe organisation and all C&K employees are required to undergo a police check and not be a '_Restricted Person_' or Suspended Educator under the QLD Blue Card System.
