Job Opportunity:

The Senior Care Specialist role is a rewarding position where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older individuals.

About the Role:

This care professional role is responsible for delivering high-quality support and care to clients in their own homes, enabling them to live with dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care and support tailored to each client's needs and preferences
  • Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and incontinence support
  • Support clients in achieving their documented goals and needs, such as exercise or social activities
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients respecting their interests and personality
  • Document any risks to care and supports, and alert the Care Manager
  • Conduct domestic cleaning, laundry, and basic cooking/meal preparation

Requirements:

  • A compassionate and empathetic individual passionate about making a difference in the lives of older Australians
  • Certificate III or IV Individual Support/Aged Care, or Disability Care, or Nursing students
  • Good listener able to balance empathy with practicality
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Reside within a 25-minute drive of Brighton, Victoria
  • Own smartphone
