The Role

As a personal care specialist, you will provide competent personal care, support, and assistance to all residents under the direction of the senior clinical team. Your key duties will include:

  • Providing personal care to assist residents maintain independence and dignity in daily living activities
  • Attending to meal delivery and refreshments as required
  • Recording observations and reporting exceptions to the care plan
  • Checking daily menu requirements
  • Performing general ward duties as allocated or delegated by the RN/EN

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire)
  • Relevant Certificate III Qualification
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in residential aged care
