This job opening is for a Payroll Administrator to work in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment.

Key responsibilities include processing and assisting in the coordination and preparation of payrolls, ensuring employee records are maintained and communicating effectively with employees on all levels.

Duties also include:

  • Calculating and processing termination and redundancy payments, salary increases, and back pays
  • Processing variations to standard pay, including allowances, deductions, and manual payments
  • Updating and maintaining employee pay and master file records, including annual leave and long service leave accruals
  • Interpreting and applying awards, policies, and enterprise bargaining agreements
  • Assisting with reconciliation and compliance review of Superannuation, PAYG, PAYE, and end-of-month payroll deductions
  • Managing Workers' Compensation, ACC, and Salary Continuance/Income Protection calculations and payments

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and possess strong attention to detail, numeracy skills, and communication skills. They will be able to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and efficiency in data entry.
