Claims Manager, Brooklyn

AXA XL is seeking a highly skilled Claims Manager to lead our Brooklyn claims team in Australia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of claims, providing expert guidance and support to our claims handlers, and driving business growth through effective claims management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of claims, including liability, property, and financial lines, to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to claims handlers, including training and development to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to handle complex claims.
  • Develop and implement effective claims management strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and effective claims handling.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and implement best practices to ensure our claims management processes are aligned with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in claims management, with a strong understanding of liability, property, and financial lines.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of claims handlers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex claims data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and laws in Australia, with the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure compliance with industry standards.
