Job Opportunity: Leading Crisis Accommodation and Outreach Teams

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to lead our crisis accommodation and outreach teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to ensure optimal client outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, youth work, or a related field, with previous experience in managing frontline case managers and/or support workers. You will be skilled in leading, supervising, and motivating a team to achieve targets and ensure quality outcomes for clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals providing supervision and guidance to ensure targets are met and that the service remains client-centered, timely, responsive, and evidence-based.
  • Deliver individual performance management and support team members in achieving their goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to promote the service and its mission.
  • Contribute to the development of the service's strategic plan and business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum bachelor's degree qualification in Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology, or other welfare-related area.
  • Previous Team Leader experience, managing frontline case managers and/or support workers.
  • Skilled in leading, supervising, and motivating a team to achieve targets and ensure quality outcomes for clients.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering support and accommodation services to disadvantaged and at-risk young people including young families who are experiencing and impacted by homelessness.
  • A current Victoria Driver's Licence.
