Logistics Operations Manager Job Description

This is an exciting career opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Logistics Operations Manager. The successful candidate will have the chance to drive engagement within the team through effective leadership and motivational activities.

The key responsibilities of this role include coaching, motivating, and developing a team of professionals to process inbound and outbound freight in a timely manner. A safe work environment will be promoted by supervising the team and encouraging a safe work culture amongst them.

The successful candidate will also participate in WHS audits, ensure process compliance, monitor warehouse performance, and complete daily reports. Furthermore, they will support customers by monitoring and ensuring timely shipment connectivity, maintain open communication channels, and respond to emails and resolve issues promptly.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have logistics/operations leadership experience, proven people leadership skills, excellent written and oral communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders, and demonstrate financial and business acumen to drive departmental targets and strategy.
