Job Title: Delivery Excellence Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished professional to drive business value through strategic delivery of prioritised features and initiatives.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about empowering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and leveraging Agile methodologies.

  • Lead and support one or more delivery teams with a strong focus on Agile practices, ensuring effective project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Facilitate key program-level events such as Planning, Release Management, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and Scrum of Scrums.
  • Identify and manage complex risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Balance product, technology, and customer experience outcomes to ensure successful delivery.
  • Champion continuous improvement and drive adoption of advanced Ways of Working across teams and programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leaders and act as 2IC to the Delivery Manager in program planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, customers, and team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business needs, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience leading large delivery teams within complex environments.
  • Proven expertise in applying advanced Agile methodologies at program or portfolio level.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated success influencing and improving Ways of Working beyond your immediate team.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to foster trust, inclusivity, empowerment, and safety.
