Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Peer Practitioner, working directly with individuals who require support and guidance.

  • As a Peer Practitioner, you will provide person-centered support to service users, helping them navigate services and connect with community resources.
  • You will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement tailored support plans for individuals, utilizing your lived experience of mental health challenges to build connection and offer hope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use your lived/living experience of mental ill health and recovery to build meaningful relationships with service users.
  • Provide empathic and relational support to individuals, helping them navigate their recovery journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement support plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.

Requirements:

  • Experience working directly with people with mental health challenges and their families/carers is highly regarded.
  • Understanding of how Lived Experience work is distinct, including its values, principles, and practice.
  • Skills or willingness to develop skills in collaboratively planning wellbeing supports using evidence-informed approaches.
  • Commitment to providing flexible and person-centered support to meet individual needs.
