Cloud infrastructure architect plays a pivotal role in designing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure cloud environments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement resilient cloud architectures for application and data workloads.
  • Manage the provisioning, automation, and optimisation of cloud environments.
  • Deploy and configure infrastructure components using Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines for consistent code delivery.
  • Maintain documentation for architectural designs and operational procedures.
  • Write and execute unit, integration, and system tests to validate reliability and security.
  • Monitor cloud environments and application health using logging and metrics tools.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a cloud engineer with extensive hands-on experience with AWS services.

Demonstrated ability to monitor and optimise using cloud-native tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to incident resolution.

Sound networking knowledge, including the use of transit gateways and network peering.

Strong understanding of shared responsibility model and best security practices.

Well-versed in disaster recovery strategies and implementation.
