Job Title

We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing procurement, contract management, travel administration and general customer support to schools and business units throughout the state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality procurement advice and services to schools and business units.
  • Assist in the creation and administration of profiles within the departments travel management system.
  • Effectively support the management of initiatives across a range of Departmental Contacts, Standing offer Arrangements and Pre-Qualified Panels.
  • Review inbound enquiries, ensuring necessary information is collated prior to allocation to a procurement delegate.
Requirements
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt written and verbal communication relevant to the client or stakeholder.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative to find solutions.
  • Manage competing priorities within tight timelines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
