Procurement Professional

The role of Procurement Professional is a critical one within our organization, as it plays a vital part in ensuring the efficient management of our supply chain.

This highly engaged and tactical position requires active involvement in day-to-day procurement operations, from sourcing to negotiating contracts and managing supply chain risks.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers while actively identifying new sourcing opportunities to enhance procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaborative partnerships that drive value and efficiency across the business.
  • Spend Management: Oversee complex spend across multiple categories, ensuring maximum cost efficiency and strategic alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strategic Development: Work closely with leadership to develop and implement strategic procurement initiatives that drive efficiencies and improve supply chain performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team, ensuring the development and growth of direct reports while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

As a seasoned procurement professional, you will have significant experience in managing complex spend and working with suppliers from across the globe. Your strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities will enable you to excel in this role.

Key qualifications for this role include experience in manufacturing and managing business-critical/direct spend categories, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and inspire positive change within the business.
