Procurement Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Professional to join our team. As a key member of the procurement department, you will play a pivotal role in driving best-practice procurement strategies for high-value, high-risk categories across the organization.

This position focuses on fostering strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure the acquisition of goods and services is executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with the strategic objectives of the organization.

You will report directly to the Manager – Procurement and Contracts within the Corporate Services Division, contributing to the delivery of robust procurement outcomes that support operational excellence and regulatory effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes: sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, supplier management.
  • Develop RFX documentation and risk strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement governance, act as Probity Officer.
  • Liaise with legal services for procurement matters.
  • Advise stakeholders on sourcing and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Plan and deliver procurement initiatives on time.
  • Ensure purchases meet policy, cost, safety, and legislative standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and strategic transformation of procurement.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in procurement roles.
  • Degree in Supply, Procurement, Business, Commerce, or similar.
  • Formal procurement qualifications (e.g., CIPS).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with modern procurement systems.
