\Job Summary

This critical role sets and delivers the strategic plan for animal disease surveillance activities.

The successful candidate will lead reporting and program delivery, build influential relationships, and champion communication with diverse audiences.

  • Develop and maintain key relationships with stakeholders, leveraging experience in managing committees and applying scientific analysis and report writing skills.
\Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Veterinary Science and current Australian Veterinary registration are essential.
  • Senior operational and strategic experience in livestock health and animal disease surveillance, programs, and policy will be highly valued.
  • Experience in project management, financial management, and leading in dynamic environments will also be beneficial.
