About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technology Risk Manager to join our Global Operational Risk Team based in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering robust risk governance and operational risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive frameworks for technology risk, providing guidance, oversight, assurance, and insights.
  • Partner with first-line teams to embed robust risk management practices, promote high control standards, and challenge exposures related to technology risk.
  • Deliver actionable insights, support the business in managing emerging risks, and enhance reporting mechanisms to identify vulnerabilities and drive risk reduction.
  • Proactively identify and manage emerging threats, ensuring our risk management practices are effective and forward-thinking.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership experience in Technology risk management.
  • Strong background in developing and implementing Technology risk management frameworks.
  • Ability to partner with business leaders and provide advisory and challenge capacities.
  • Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating Technology risks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex risk insights effectively.
