The ideal candidate will have 4-10+ years of technology-focused risk or compliance experience within financial services or technology firms.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Providing advice, training, and monitoring to the enterprise-wide technology division on key compliance risks;
  • Collaborating with the central Regulatory Risk team to monitor the regulatory environment in ANZ for developments that impact the business;
  • Reviewing, assessing, and approving new initiatives;
  • Reporting to senior management on technology risk and compliance issues;
  • Conducting regulatory assurance reviews as they relate to the enterprise-wide technology division.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Technology risk or compliance experience within financial services or technology firms;
  • A questioning mind and understanding of the Australian regulatory environment as it applies to technology and IT services;
  • Experience with regulatory reporting in Australia or overseas is highly desirable;
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships;
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across teams;
  • Ability to write technically accurate, succinct, and impactful communications;
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver results to deadlines.
