Role Overview

As a Senior Technology Risk Manager at Macquarie, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of technology risk across the organization. This involves partnering with Banking and Financial Services teams to implement Macquarie's Operational Risk Management Frameworks and associated policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technology risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess technology-related risks, and develop mitigation plans to address these risks.
  • Provide risk management guidance and support to business leaders and risk management colleagues to ensure that technology risk is effectively managed.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends and regulatory requirements, and provide recommendations to senior management on how to address these risks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technology risk management, with a strong understanding of operational risk management frameworks and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess technology-related risks.
  • Knowledge of information technology general controls and processes, such as software development life cycles, access, and cybersecurity.
  • Good understanding of the financial services environment and technology platforms, including public cloud/SaaS.
